CirKis

GAME DESCRIPTION

Cirkis is played on a circular board which is divided in multiple star and circle shaped sections. Each player has a set of colored pieces (red, yellow, purple or green) that fit in the sections on the board.  In turn each player must connect one of his pieces to the pieces already on the board. When a section of the board is completely covered in colored pieces, the player covering most (or all) of that section scores points. For more information see this link.

In CirKis a player can earn an extra turn by:

• completing the center star
• being the first to use his/her sliver piece
• playing a piece that is completely surrounded and therefore has no adjacent spots for the other players to place a piece

CUBE TIP: Move time restriction

The best way to use the Cube in CirKis is limiting the time each player has to place his piece.  

When counting points after filling a section of the board it is best to pause the Cube. Also when a player earns a bonus move he can do this without a time limit. This way he/she earns the time to think as an extra reward.
